TA'ing through an agency

How does TA'ing through an agency work? My DD is tempted as said up to £100 a day and guaranteed constant work every day. She has been told she needs no experience at all and she can start work tomorrow. She literally had a 2 min phone call and they say she will never be out of work again - she sent a CV in at the end of last week. She has now decided she isnt going to apply for any advertised job as she is going to be earning £500 a week. She seems to think she will be in the same school but I think it is probably more likely to be different places each day. Can anyone offer any light on how agency TA'ing works?

It can be different schools each day. It is term time only work and agencies will often promise guaranteed work but it isn’t always. She wouldn’t be able to just start as there will be onboarding checks like a DBS check, references etc to get into place. She will also need to complete safeguarding training.

' up to ' does not mean she will actually get £100 each and every day.

and if she doesn't already have a dbs then I wouldn't believe that agency at all.

have they said what type of schools this would be in ?
primary / secondary / sen ?

no sick pay / no holiday pay

She is only 17 and I think she has been taken in by their £100 a day pay and the fact that you can basically work all day every day through the term as they have so much work available. No mention of a DBS or training anywhere - she thinks they are phoning her tomorrow with a placement. I think they have used specific wording to reel her in and promise her work as she is young and inexperienced.

There is no way we would employ a 17 year old with no experience- the agencies have plenty more suitable candidates to offer!
