Long Term Supply Rights Staff Training afterschool etc

I just started a long term supply at a school and getting payed to scale.

They said I do not have to attend after school meeting. Does that also mean I can leave early on the days I wish like about 3:30 and 3:45. I thought I had to do everything a normal teacher would do now. I do planning. No marking as it’s EYFS.

How was any one else’s long term supply experience?

I wouldn't leave the premises early, regardless of the time I finished teaching, but not doing parent's evenings, twilights, meetings or other CPD is normal. They should technically pay you for it if they want to attend.

What time would you leave then 4 ish ? If everything is done for the day and next day is prepared?

It should say on your booking sheet. Rule of thumb - 10 minutes after the kids.

3.30pm isn't early if the school day finishes at 3pm ish. Everyone at my school leaves whenever they like after the school day is finished at 3pm. For some that's 3.10pm, for others it's 6.30pm, there is no requirement or expectation and no norm. For any non-teachers reading, of course they haven't finished working if they leave close to 3pm, they're just choosing to work at home rather than on site, as is their right in the STPCD. It's the same for permanent staff and supply.
