What is it like teaching in Northern Ireland?

Hi,
I'm originally from NI, however I have lived in England for 10 years now, and I am a secondary school teacher. As a family, we have been exploring the idea of moving back to NI, and honestly, if I thought that things were better than they are in English state schools (generally), it would be a huge tick in the pro column for moving. I don't actually know any teachers in NI so are there any here that can give their point of view?
I have looked online at NI teaching jobs, but I'm not seeing a lot - do teachers still tend to spend a lot of time in the same role? Are there multi academy trusts like in England? Is behaviour and attendance as big an issue, and basically, is it just another shitshow like education in England?

Thanks in advance!

I teach in a Grammar school in (NI). There are no academies trusts as such but we have integrated, secondary and grammar as secondaries. There are behavioural issues of-course and I think there is less respect for the profession than times gone by. Generally teachers do tend to stay with the same school. Vacancies should start appearing soon.
