Is there a job like this?

I don't currently live in the UK, although I previously lived there for 2 years. I don't have any immediate plans to move anywhere, so I guess I'm just curious at this stage. It's a possibility in the future though.

I worked for around 15 years as teacher. I now have a job where I support teachers and schools with inclusion - kind of like a consultant, but it's 'state' job, not a private company. I'm highly qualified.

I have no desire to return to any type of teaching, or any SLT position.

Is there a job in the UK that is similar to what I currently do? I obviously know about SENCOs but I don't think that's what I'm after.

I think academy trusts often employ people with those skills. At least, the two I've worked in did/do. Start by making a list of academy trusts and look on their websites. The downside would be, well, working for an academy trust. But I imagine that type of work in an LA is very stressful as they're all so skint. You'd also have to decide how you'd feel ethically about working for an organisation that is generally breaking the law left, right and centre (have a google of the SENDIST stats).
