Wanting to apply for a teaching degree with international Bachelor's and UK masters degree

Hi,

Hoping get some advice here from lovely mumsnetters after getting too confused researching online.

So, I have a Bachelors in computer science from abroad and then I moved to England and got a Master's in E-commerce. That was about 16 years ago.

About 2 years ago I changed my career and did a few level 2 courses and signed up with an agency and started doing Teaching Assistant jobs. I have worked in several schools but only as a supply TA.

Now I was researching about getting a teaching degree with which I could use my master's degree as well. Like ICT. But I have no idea how to go about doing it. I want to mainly go for primary schools.

I did try to apply through govt website for a pgce but got rejected as I didn't have experience then and they said my master's can be equivalent to maths GCSE but I need to do level 2 English functional skills.

Does my master's degree count as GCSE equivalent of maths and English or I need to go English qualification again?

Does supply work counts as experience? given that I am not employed by the school.

What qualification should I aim for, Qts or pgce?

Can I apply only from govt website or should I apply directly to universities?

What about financial help? How can I get a bursary? If I apply to universities or through govt can I get help paying those high fees?

Thank you so much in advance. Any advice would be much appreciated.
