I'm due to start teacher training in September and I want to be as prepared as possible. I'm a mum of 3, step mum to 2, still working etc so busy. I'm happy to spend a bit of money for a diary/planner that's going to be super useful. Or am I better just getting a bog standard mid year diary instead?
What do you use and why?
Thanks

My guilty pleasure are Pirongs planners but a standard academic diary is just as good!

I got a very boring one from Educational Planning Books. I love nice stationary too but as a trainee teacher i couldn't afford it! I do find a planner useful as I can see what I'm doing lesson by lesson.

One thing I will say is that I'm on a Facebook group for aspiring teachers and there does seem to be a lot of angst about choosing the perfect planner. Just get what works for you Smile. Remember as well that your planner only lasts a year. If it doesn't work, try something new next year.

You'll likely have to use a specific format for planning so I wouldn't buy a planner yet
