NPQSL

Can anybody recommend a provider for an NPQSL?? Equally, are there any that I should avoid??

There seem to be quite a few online providers and while their websites are all very impressive, I can't seem to get any idea of how good their course delivery and support actually are. I am in a one form entry and nobody else has undertaken one. As I'm in London, there is also IoE at UCL.

Thanks!

I would avoid Teach first like the plague.

UCL offer NPQs. If you go on the government NPQs page, you can find out which providers are working with which institutions.

We're using UCL although our local provider doesn't.

Thanks! I am keen on IoE at UCL and their local provider is a big south west London literacy hub which may be a good option.…

I'm doing NPQLTD with UCL and I'm pleased with it. There's clear academic credibility and rigour, and it's not "look at me. Aren't I great?" which is what I wanted to avoid from the more commercial operations.
I'd go for it if I were you.
Really, location wise, I've made a stupid choice. But the minor inconvenience is worth it for the quality of the provision.

That’s really helpful, thank you. I did suspect that some of the commercial providers were like that!

I did my PGCE at the Institute of Education (when it was University of London rather than UCL) and they were very thorough!
