Part time can I keep pushing for 3 days?

I asked my HT to go pt in November. She said no. Second time she said yes but has to be 3 days, which I'm fine with. Agreed a temporary 4 day week, not what I want, 5 mornings. This was until Christmas. Then just before Christmas she said let's keep it until end of January and review. I asked about it in email at end of December (as I need to sort childcare if she changes it) email ignored and not been mentioned again. Can I keep pushing for part time? Does she have to answer or formally do anything? I feel completely ignored and taken for a ride- doing all assessments etc for 4 days pay in days/hours I dont want.

Not really sure how it works with your authority.
Where I am I had an initial chat with my head teacher then filled in a form to apply to reduce my days with the council. The head teacher had the final decision to either keep me in the school or I would be moved schools to somewhere where my new days would fit. Luckily I managed to stay in the same school but I believe the head teacher has the day on what works in their school.
If it doesn’t work for you I’m sure you can send the request further.

There should be a formal process to request flexible working. You should be given a form to complete with your request. You should then be called to a meeting to discuss how you think it would work. It’s up to the head and governors to decide whether the school can accommodate your request based on the budget, and the needs of the school. If they do agree, it becomes a permanent change to your contract.
