I stupidly logged into my personal email. Complete accident as a result of being so tired.

Can they see my personal emails and things? I logged off and everything

They can see whatever you can see when you are using your school machine in school and remotely.

I logged out straight away as I saw my uni documents and realised. Can they still see it ?

Can they see something that's no longer there? No.
Will there be a record of what you did on your school machine today? Yes.
Most computer systems are passively monitored so unless you're looking at the BNP website, nothing will happen.

What MrsH said. School can see anything you accessed while on their network. On my very first day as a teacher, I was asked why I’d been googling x rated information. I hadn’t been. I was getting a copy of Sonnet XXX but it had triggered the software. Since then, awkward conversations about accessing pages relating to rape (Streetcar), underage sex (Boys Don’t Cry), child brides (Romeo and Juliet), etc, etc. Don’t look on TES jobs in school either 😅

Id check my personal email though. I doubt my IT Department care about the spam I get.

School business manager here. Don’t panic! Yes, all sites visited are monitored, but your personal information will not be stored on the network or servers. All it will show is e.g. Outlook login at 16.12 on xx pc/laptop.

We can see who has logged on, on what device, location (including personal devices), date, time and what they’ve viewed at any time. However, we have to actively look for that info. Obviously, we get an alert of anyone trying to access unauthorised or inappropriate websites or other content, though they shouldn’t be able to access anything truly inappropriate due to highly sensitive filters.

We've been told that what we look at at home can now be monitored (I've no idea how!) we've been told not to log into online banking using a work laptop at home, as our details will be able to be seen. We've often been warned to to log into personal emails at work, but now it's at home also.
