Is everyone still testing and reporting twice a week?

I don’t object to the testing, but the reporting is pissing me off tbh. Is everyone else still doing it? Or can I get away with doing the tests and not bothering to report?

@Piggywaspushed - I agree. And more worryingly - children were being sent into school with coughs & colds. A few with high temperature and visibly unwell. Two of whom, had to stay in school due to parents being ‘too busy’ to collect. Most of us have inevitably caught it too. At least testing gives some peace of mind, for a mere few minutes of our time.

I dispute the 2 mins though piggy/ others - well certainly when I have to do it for me plus 2 DC - I timed it the other day and it was 8 mins. Plus I can only scan QR codes reliably on my tablet which I rarely turn on otherwise, so it feels more of a faff.

2 mins per personjan. Our school reporting system is literally one clickers a reminder email. Only thing that holds me up is not being able to read the number! The QR thing doesn't work .

We are.

We are Recording for school and on gov website.

Even with the vax I like to know that I am not carrying anything

I don't see why people wouldn't.
It's reassuring and hardly any hassle.

I’m still testing and reporting. I’m fully vaccinated as are all my colleagues but being vaccinated doesn’t mean you can’t infect anyone.

Like a previous poster we had an apparently healthy (and fully vaccinated) teacher test positive on a lateral flow, confirmed by a PCR test. I think that demonstrates the importance of testing.

We have to report to school too and get a text from office staff if we forget.
