Hello all, I'm hoping for some advice. I applied to a job and sent off my application- they then sent me an email saying they're inviting me to interview. I then looked back over my application and saw at least 3 errors in grammar! Im absolutely mortified, I'm dyslexic but i haven't yet disclosed it. Now im really worried that on the day of interview they'll grill me over the errors I should have quadruple checked!

What should I do?

What is the job?
Is dyslexia going to be an issue in the job?
(DW is dyslexic)

If it were that bad, you wouldn't have been invited to interview! There is bound to be a question about future intentions, professional development or support needed, then would be an opportune time to mention the dyslexia and how you work to overcome it!

@spanieleyes i totally agree im just nervous that i counted 3 errors in grammar and they'll think im a rubbish applicant !

If they thought you were a rubbish applicant you wouldn’t have an interview.

Forget about the errors and move on. Nobody is perfect. Good luck with your interview!

Move on. They’re interviewing you. Focus on that.

Fwiw, I once got an application for a completely different school. Now that’s a proof reading fail!
