Mine announced yesterday that SLT would be dropping in AND doing full observations

32 teachers - I'm the only one who's visibly kicking up a fuss.

Why do they do this?
I’ve got the deputy head coming to observe me tomorrow. I emailed him and said I was finding everything really stressful so I would prefer not to be observed and his response was ‘sorry to hear you’re having a difficult time. Let us know if we can help. See you in your lesson tomorrow’
Ffs you can help by leaving us alone!

We have been observed online, "team teaching" in class with slt every bloody day with formal feedback given after!
Book scrutiny to an inch of death!
SLT in PPA time to "support"
Three staff meetings a week.
It is so depressing

I’m still getting to grips with some of the lingo, but will ‘instructional coaching’ eradicate the need for observations like this? It’s all the rage in the Twittersphere right now.
