Online Learning for Foundation Stage

Hi there, in my education authority we are preparing for a physical return to school on Monday 11th and need to have online resources ready to go too.

I'm new to Foundation Stage, and was wondering if anybody had any ideas and could direct me to appropriate online resources? Our head, has acknowledged that this doesn't sit well with best Early Years best practice, however we need to have it ready to go ....... just in case.

Thank you in advance.

Following. I have to teach 2x half hour lessons for reception on Monday.

Hi, I teach Reception - we are now online through google classroom. I'm posting 3 'lessons' a day, more or less following our MTP - 1 phonics, 1 maths or literacy and 1 theme (Understanding the World, Expressive Arts and Design or PE). Each 'lesson' is a powerpoint either with links to youtube videos etc or with a loom video of me presenting the learning, lots of pauses to 'talk to your grown up, or to your teddy'. We have also pointed parents to phonics play, Oxford Owls e-books etc. The White Rose maths videos are also good, and I might use bits of Oak Academy but a lot of it doesn't match up with out LTP, and I would rather the children were able to see and hear me rather than a stranger as much as possible, and several parents have commented today on how much the children have enjoyed being able to actually see my face (although I am very much not enjoying seeing myself and my ever increasing wrinkles....). I'm trying to figure out the best way to model cursive handwriting using loom videos.
Parents are posting back videos and photos of children's learning - they have been quite enthusiastic today but I'm not sure how long the enthusiasm will last.

Should have said - the videos are usually about 10 minutes long, with a couple of points where I ask them to pause the video and do something (e.g. have a go at writing), and then a follow on challenge e.g. 'Peter felt disappointed when his snowball melted - can you think of a time when you felt disappointed? Draw me a picture and use your phonics knowledge to have a go at labelling it.'

Thank you for your reply Doraemon - some very useful ideas and specifics re: content. I'll take this back to the team.
