Hi,
I am aware that there will be a subject Knowledge assessment as part of my interview. Can anyone give me any tips on what to brush up on? Feeling very nervous. Thank you so much in advance.

Look at the gcse and a level specifications as a starting point. When I ran a Scitt we did the subject knowledge with a resource which we asked candidates to plan a lesson on and explain why they'd done what they'd done.

@Rory786 good luck! They're not expecting you to know it all yet, so just give it your best shot. Is your degree Lang or lit?

@MrsHamlet
That's another thing I'm worried about. My degree is in Childhood and Youth studies (1.1). My training providers said they will accept me with my A'level in English Literature. I am aware I will need to undertake Subject Knowledge Enhancement....

I'd concentrate on boning up on your grammar knowledge. Have you looked at what year 6 are meant to know before they come up? It's scary!

@MrsHamlet, yes thank you I have looked at grammar and have completed several online tests. I really appreciate you taking the time to help. I feel a bit better about the interview now!
Hope you have a lovely Christmas break.
