Feeling unwell - not classic Covid symptoms

Have had a few symptoms in the last day or two which are not classed as classic by the NHS - sore throat/headache/nausea/diarrhoea. Went through symptom checker on NHS website and they don't advise testing. Could soldier on at school today at a push but what if it is covid?? What a mess this is. Teaching yesterday was just about manageable though thought I was going to be sick at one point! Stayed 1 - 2m from students but did walk to back of room a couple of times to check they were working. Masks in corridors. Not sure what to do. Any advice welcome. In all likelihood, it's a different virus. Should I just tell the office and see what they recommend?

Stay off and get well. They may ask you to get a test.

I'm in a vaccine trial and those are symptoms which they say require me to get tested.

Whatever it is (and yes it could be covid) you are not well enough to be in school so stay home and rest. If it is COVID you may find some testable symptoms show up in a day or two.

Sounds like you need to stay off anyway as you are not well enough to be in school. Tests are coming back quicker now so would probably be sensible to get a test while off sick anyway? That’s what I’d do anyway 🤷‍♀️ Hope you feel better soon

🙈 just noticed you posted this several days ago! Hopefully it turned out to be nothing serious.

You shouldn’t go into work with nausea and diarrhoea anyway. It may well not be Covid, but it’s probably still a bug you don’t want to spread.

I had similar this week. My school has a strict d&v policy so I had to call out. Several people I know also have a similar thing--nausea, sickness, headache, painful ears, dizziness. No one has tested positive for covid with it luckily. I think it's just some other type of bug making the rounds.
