Remote Learning for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. How did you teach yours?

There are plans being made about what we will be doing if schools close. I know secondary schools had these kind of plans and meetings back in March but we didn’t. We sent emails with suggested activities and the school website offered links and info too.

I was wondering, who did do remote learning that was more than sending ideas for work?
I can’t even imagine live teaching with a Reception class, even if the families have the equipment needed.
If your school did this, was it sessions every day? How long were they?
My mind is boggling.

Dojo platform for communication and uploads of photos etc. Daily recorded phonics lesson using loom and uploaded to dojo .Daily linked White Rose maths home learning videos and suggested play based activities.Oak Academy for one other subject daily .All videos no longer than 15 minutes .Daily live zoom with children and their families ,mixture of story , singing and rhymes , games and opportunities to show and tell .
Not as play based as we are in school but it seemed to work with almost all families engaging to some degree . This was for two weeks reception class isolating .

In the summer...
See Saw with pre-recorded videos and then a follow up task.
Some small groups live for interventions, guided reading etc
Daily form time check in with a story/assembly style session

Now...
Same as above for Rec and Year 1
Full live teaching timetable on zoom for Year 2 with follow up task on SeeSaw. We've done loads of work on etiquette, rules etc and they have adjusted amazingly (must add this is quite a capable class with few SEN or behavioural problems... would be skeptical doing this with previous classes!)

Y2 here. Wasn't in school over lockdown but we've had to create a 2 week timetable in case we go off sick. We'll have a 15 min catch up every morning and afternoon and an individual 30 min session with every child once a week. They've got daily White Rose, TT Rockstars, Oak Academy English and one other subject. I've tried to make stuff that are accessible without too much intervention but as there is a low reading level they'll definitely need parents near them for some of it.
I'm quite worried about the live lessons, as in a shared house I'll have to do them in my bedroom and the only place to sit is the floor or my bed (no space for desk).
