I work in a private nursery and im due back to work on Monday after being furloughed since the lockdown started. Im not to worried about going back to work as honestly missing the routine and structure. My eldest in year 6 is due back to school on monday and my partner who is still furloughed will be looking after youngest child. My partner doesn't want me to go bsck to work yet as my job is impossible to socially distance when working with young children, but i feel fine about it as work have put in place measurements to reduce the spread as much as possible. Just wondered other peoples opinions on returning to work in the education sector. Especially early years?

Hi Sarah. I was about to start a post about PPE in nurseries. We have 2-3 year olds in our school nursery, but apparently only need usual PPE for nappy changing ie gloves and aprons. This is causing me worry. But would paper masks even make a difference? We will also be in close contact resettling 2 year olds after a long break for them. This can't be done at a distance! I've been working with older children in school throughout this time, but the younger ones definitely will need a different approach. Sorry that doesn't really answer your questions, just what's been on my mind!
