You first see your students walk back into the classroom.

I think I will cry my eyes out.

I'm usually very reserved in front of the students, but think there will be a good time crying and welcoming them back!

Has anyone thought yet about what they will say or do on that first lesson back? Any nice 'welcome back' strategies?

I don’t know if we’ll see full classes and feel normal for...I don’t know how long. I’ll bake for my tutor group when I see them. I’m hoping there will be some sort of prioritisation of those in need. I have a lot of kids telling me they are fine on email and I need to see faces/hear voices to believe it.

I think me crying in front of my class would terrify them!!

I'm assuming my dudes won't be back for ages, and instead I'll be teaching 8 year 6 children or something.

I've seen some of my most vulnerable children when I'm in school anyway, so that's a bit of a relief.
