If someone in your house develops symptoms and you can't get into work for 14 days, are you getting paid?
This hasn't happened to me (yet) but I would like to be informed. I daren't ask work in case they think I am playing the system, which I have no intention of doing.

Nasuwt says we will still be paid

Thanks, that's reassuring. I am still paying full nursey fees so it would be very hard to lose a wage.

I am a HLTA and self isolating, and then will still not be at work as I am in an at risk group. My head teacher assures me I will be paid. The teachers at school in a similar situation have been told the same.

I am still working. I am just not in the classroom with the children. My role has changed but it doesn't mean I am not willing and able to work during my normal contract hours. In fact I have been working beyond that in the morning and evenings, weekends and will be doing so over the Easter break too.

Yes, definitely still paid in my school. I'm high risk so off for 12 weeks and the head has confirmed it's paid throughout too.
