This was in the local paper. Wellbeing is decided by working hours, renumeration, progression and holiday entitlement.

Here is the autonomy survey:

OP can yo see from your local rag paper who conducted this survey you found? And how?

@Piggywaspushed take a look at:

silverswanrecruitment.com

It gives a full explanation and a more comprehensive list.

So...it's just their own 'research'. A recruitment company. I smell bollocks.

I am still confused where all this fresh air comes from in most teachers' daily routine!

workinmind.org/2019/11/12/teacher-wellbeing-index/

This came up as second match when I googled professional wellbeing index! Rather more robust...

My doctor told me that many, many teachers join me in visiting for a prescription for happy pills. Does intake of Sertraline feature in their survey?

SansaSnark · 03/02/2020 18:06

Did they actually ask teachers how many hours they work? Or did they take an average across the year, maybe? Did they consider how flexibility around holidays can benefit wellbeing too?

Surely you are better off asking the people in a profession about their wellbeing anyway, rather than using arbitrary measures?
