What teacher planner do you have? Is it good?

Hi all,

This year ready for September I'm ready to upgrade and buy myself a nice planner and not use the school one, but I'm not seeing many that have the dates already in.

I need an A4 planner, with the daily lessons by page and the dates already in. Do any of you have those?

Where do you get it from?

This year I have had this one (in a green they no longer sell):

my planner

but in over the summer i think i'm going to treat myself to one from here:

personal planner

Since I have to carry the flipping thing around like a toddler all day every working day I'm thinking I want it to be gorgeous!

Oh my that second one is amazing!! I have just designed myself one and it's gorgeous!!

Im now hesitating to press the 'pay' button as it's £40. Might need an evening to decide on spending that! Smile

haha! They're gorgeous aren't they? I'm marking for edexcel right now and killing myself with it, so this is going to be my treat for school.

I'm just waiting for the school's calendar for next year to be released because it looks like I'm going to be able to upload all the dates and have them ready-printed in there :)

I get mine from a company called Loop. I like a looseleaf A5 but you can get a4 or spiral bound

I buy a Pirongs one every year with the best of intentions and end up writing on scraps of paper!

If you’ve got an iPad, Idoceo is da bomb.

I'm being really thick, but what IS a teacher planner? A diary? A book of timetables?

Cynderella · 23/06/2019 22:05

A planner is a diary and mark book. Sometimes more. The diary bit is a page a day and a grid allows you to record what you do in each lesson. There are pages for recording class lists and marks. A few pages for timetables and notes.

If you click the links, you can see examples.

I have a Pirongs personal one and love it- I customised it to have a home section and a work section so everything is in one book and it's a4 so can actually write a decent amount of info per day.

oh wow - a whole new set of planners to choose from! i love finding joy from things like this.... a beautiful new planner... and then I look over at this year's covered in doodles and messages LOL. The first few months look gorgeous however haha

I always get the primary teacher diary from www.edplanbooks.com.

Just received my new planner in the post and it's gorgeous! After reading this thread I decided to have a look at personal planner and so glad I did. Their different options were exactly what I needed and I'm (almost) looking forward to September now so I can use it!Grin
