I have no idea how this works anymore

I left primary teaching 10 years ago to work in a different field within education. I am now returning to teaching KS1 and 2, but I am embarrassed to admit that I no longer know how to access the National Curriculum. In the past, I used the 'Standards' site to inform my maths and English planning, but this has all since gone! I can't even think where I found all the schemes of work for the foundation subjects. Please help! What do primary teachers use now??

You just need to Google national curriculum and it will come up to download free of charge. When you say schemes of work do you mean things like the national strategies? They don't exist anymore... So if you want something more detailed you will need a subscription for something like twinkl or tes.

Find out what your new school uses. Many use bought in schemes now (White Rose Maths for example).

Do you mean those QCA schemes of work A4 pull out things? View from a window and making a sandwich etc?

They are long gone. Just look at the new curriculum.

Ah, the good old QCA schemes on the bizarrely slippery card, always sliding out of their bulging folder.

So dull and so lacking in any helpful detail!
