Can I ask if you get paid extra or get time off in lieu?

At my old school we received double pay, at my new school we get nothing. A TA friend gets an unqualified teacher rate. I was wondering if there were any guidelines that I could refer to for negotiation when next asked.

I get paid as a level 3 TA if I’m covering the class for more than just a short meeting.

We don't get paid anything extra at my school.

Dh doesn't, but he's a l3 so gets paid the same whether he's doing an intervention 1:1 or teaching the class.

He gets no ppa time when he gets to plan lessons and doesn't get paid overtime for it either but he is in mainly 9-3 and rarely stays late because he has to pick up our kids.
I'm not sure if he gets paid extra for residentials though . He may get 6 hrs pay for the days he doesn't normally work but, like teachers, this doesn't reflect the hours delivered.

I don't get paid for the first day's cover that I do, eg sick cover. But for the second day onwards, where a supply teacher would be booked, I get an additional hour's pay for every hour I cover. I work in a KS4 PRU academy though, so I guess that different rules apply. My students don't cope well with change, so TAs covering lessons is the best alternative.

KS1 here. Don't get anything extra despite covering whole class on at least a weekly basis
