2017/18 PGCE thread anyone?

2 weeks to go and I've hit a wall of self-doubt and panic!! Anyone else in the same boat? I can't even imagine the logistical nightmares of schools (mine and the DC's) plus a shift working husband.
I'd planned a whole summer of subject cramming but I've done bugger all.
Someone tell me I'm not alone?!

I've done the whole of this week in my home school, it's all very bewildering plus lots of tasks to do before the taught course at uni starts in a week's time... I'm shattered! 2 days were inset so next week is a full week of class time which I am sure will be even more knackering

Hi everyone! I spent last week desperately trying to spend 'quality time' with the dc to make up for missing all the first days of school and my eldest's birthday this week. Tomorrow is my 4yr old's first day at school and I'm trying to convince myself that in the grand scheme of things it doesn't really matter that I won't be there!

Apart from that I've done 2 inset days at school, 2 days at the Scitt and tomorrow is first day with actual children! It's also way past the 10pm bedtime I promised myself... week one and my time management has already gone to pot 😂

I didn't realise everyone was starting so much earlier than me!

I'm not in school until the 26th and just found out I'm at a school that's a 40 min drive away....and that's not including heavy traffic which I'll no doubt hit on the way there and back

Back at uni next week for a conference and to learn what this teaching malarkey is all about
