There's a job at one of my children's school, 16 hours which I need. What exactly is involved please? I'm a qualified childcare practitioner but worked at preschool age and this is in year 3. Please could someone tell me roughly what's involved/expected please?

purple no i don't take a whole class. Our school has worked it so PPA time is covered by external sports coaches delivering a pe lesson. Though due to money that will be stopping end of this school year.
Plus each year group has a level 4 TA to cover sickness etc. I sometimes have the whole class for 10 mins if teacher has to deal with something but it's just being 'in charge' not actually delivering lessons or anything.

calzone sounds about right! Do you work in my school? Wink Good job I love the kids or I'd have walked ages ago.

I know the school well as it's my youngest dcs school. Staff turn over is very low.... although the ta's tend to often spend some time at different areas in the school. I will need to clarify about covering ppa though..
