Found out someone was drinking in school, celebrating their birthday, not classroom based but pupils, staff about apparently. Would this be frowned upon in your school?

One of the girls at our sixth form used to go the public with the politics teacher.

Hard for her not to really, she was living with him.

As I said, times change Grin

We are not allowed to drink any alcohol on school premises at any time - LA rules

Yeah one of the female boarders at my (independent) school dated our German teacher for the second half of year 12 and all of year 13 and stayed with him at weekends and in the holidays. This was the late nineties. Many girls routinely kissed and even some slept with the younger male teachers at events like Christmas ball and graduation. I'm glad times have changed. I shudder a bit thinking back.

OP if you are talking about students that would be a serious offence at our school. We had three 16 year olds found with beer in their room on a school trip, they were sent home and their parents called to meet the head, then a week of internal exclusion. The same or worse punishment would have been given for bringing beer into school.
