What do you eat for lunch when at school?

I've always had sandwiches/rolls, but could really do with losing a bit of weight and feel like having toast for breakfast and rolls for lunch might be too much bread?!

I only get about 10/15 minutes 'eating' time these days and often eat at my desk, so what else can I eat that isn't bread, isn't messy, can be eaten quickly and doesn't need heating up?! And contains zero calories Grin

A portion of the previous night's dinner with salad. Served into a Tupperware when I serve up the dinner itself. Leave to cool. Chuck on salady bits and some dressing. Put in fridge.

This works for chilli, lasagne, chicken, left over roast ham or beef, pasta etc. I don't reheat just eat it cold at my desk. I take everything I need to eat with too, fork and spoon and napkin. Not enough time to go to staff room and faff about there.

Yoghurt for pudding. Fruit at break.

First school after qualifying was a boarding school so good food was constantly free and available. Breakfast, homemade cake or fruit at break time, cooked lunch, sandwiches at 3.15 and then dinner at 6pm. Second school you got free lunches dependent on how many duties you did, I was part time so only had to pay for one a week, and the other two were free.
Current school-lunches are free. I tend to have a jacket potato and salad with fruit for pudding unless it's crumble day (best day ever!)

I cook rice, make a dressing of soy sauce. Lime juice and grated ginger. Break up a piece of mackerel. Very satisfying lunch.

Overnight oats in a jam jar, made either the night before or in the morning:
3 tbsp of muesli, not oats cause that's boring
A handful of frozen blueberries or cherries
Cover muesli in milk
Top with 2 or 3 tbsp of Greek yogurt

Salad with added protein

tinned homemade soup

Always have some yogurt in the staff room fridge plus some emergency muesli or granola bars
