Pssst, the Boden clearance section has some work compatible bargains and I might have ordered some for the kids, too.

I go for smart (straight leg/fitted) trousers (gap, next etc) and smart tops and cardigans. Usually brogues o feet although want some slip on shoes but can't find any I think would suit

Arghhh-I don't want to think about going back to work! I've lived in flip flops and cut off jeans for 6 weeks. The fact I've eaten my own body weight in crisps and chocolate probably also means that none of my work clothes fit anyway Grin

Half of my school uniform comes from actual school uniform. Sainsbos goes up to age 16 which is like a size 14, so I get trousers, skirts and cardigans super cheap! My favourite shoes actually come from the asda school section - like ballet flats but better soles and more supportive, up to size 6. I team that lot with a nice patterned top (primary) and it works most days!

My go to 'uniform' is dress tights and ballet type shoes, I'm nursery though. I have a few 'smarter' dresses that I wear for parents/governors/lesson obs but I can't bear wearing trousers. Very much a jeans girl out of school though b
