Potential redundancy after switching councils

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help. My husband is a teacher and moved schools a couple of years ago, switching from one county council to another. Unfortunately it looks like there maybe some redundancys in his new school. Does anyone know if when calcuating redunancy whether they would take into account all the time he has spent in teaching (around 10 years) or just the two years with the new council. He has always worked for local authority schools.

It will all count, if it's continuous service

I would think it is the employment at the second school which is considered as it's a new employment.

There is legislation so continuous service in two schools/councils is aggregated
