KS1 SATs online info

So where are the conversion tables for standardised scores which were promised at the end of May?

I am interested to know where they'll set the 'pass' mark (particularly for that reading paper).

Also, I see they've published the KS1 SATs papers online now, what about children who were away in May? Do they still have to sit them?!

Hmm. I have a cohort that we TA as being about 85% in reading but only 70% have 'passed'.

Im being moderated and have definitely NOT been spending the year collecting evidence against the IF so it will be an interesting meeting

Our percent is around 66% pass for reading and maths in SATs.

House, does the 66% match your TA? And how on earth are you meant to moderate this?!

Cocker, the SATs scores are apparently only meant to support (be some evidence towards) the TA.
So why have a nationally standardised test then?
My class have all smashed the SATs papers but I simply haven't been running round like a loony gathering videos of them reading 90 words per minute and having eureka moments with numicon in photos.
It was my understanding that teacher assessment was what we knew of the children from working so closely with them all the time.
I understand tick sheets etc for writing because there's no writing SAT but maths and reading should be overidden by the SAT.
Anyone can heavily support a child to hit one of the IF bullet points in their maths books but that doesn't mean the child will be able to retain this knowledge or apply it in a test.
I have dyslexic children who suffer with their memory- totally capable on the day I've taught them of remembering methods but as soon as I start saying they are exceeding because of evidence in their books I have set the school up to fail at KS2 because these problems will remain for them throughout school.

Yes they do match.
