Is this even possible? I left three months ago. So upset!

What?!

DoreenLethal · 23/04/2016 10:55

More info needed.

TheSolitaryWanderer · 23/04/2016 10:57

Left or on sick leave?
Is it the Head and SLT being unbelievably nasty, or are the circumstances something that's extremely serious and requiring further investigation?
Either way, contact your union ASAP.

TheSolitaryWanderer · 23/04/2016 11:01

Oh.
It's OK enchanted, I remember the last time we encountered each other, I'm gone. Smile
Hope you get some useful support.

enchantedfairytale · 23/04/2016 14:40

Ok, never mind.

If you're no longer employed by them I wouldn't have thought they can.

Unless it's something so serious they're thinking of getting you struck off as a teacher.....if that's even possible. I know health care professionals can have disciplinaries continue even if they've left.

WhoTheFuckIsSimon · 23/04/2016 14:47

info here on teacher disciplinary

enchantedfairytale · 23/04/2016 14:51

Thanks, Simon, I think that is for very serious things, as far as I am aware this doesn't fall into that category as I wasn't suspended or really had anything happen other than vague talk of 'an allegation.'

OP posts:
WhoTheFuckIsSimon · 23/04/2016 15:09

Do you know what the allegation is?

enchantedfairytale · 23/04/2016 15:09

No, not really.

OP posts:
WhoTheFuckIsSimon · 23/04/2016 15:11

If you are/were in a union I would contact them and see what they suggest.

SouthWestmom · 23/04/2016 15:15

Although you have moved schools (presumably) are you still employed by the LA?

enchantedfairytale · 23/04/2016 15:18

No; it was an academy anyway but they still did everything through the LA, who I don't think we're the best organised.

OP posts:
Temporaryanonymity · 23/04/2016 15:20

You are registered as teachers aren't you? Might be connected to a referral to the registration body.

BombadierFritz · 23/04/2016 15:29

Did you get a letter? What does it say?

enchantedfairytale · 23/04/2016 15:31

I don't think it is, Temporary.

The letter says that the investigation has been completed and that I have failed to present any supporting documentation to assist with it - which is hard to do as I wasn't told what it was - and that the findings will be presented to the HT next week.

OP posts:
BombadierFritz · 23/04/2016 15:35

So did the disciplinary start, then you left, and they have continued with the investigation?

SouthWestmom · 23/04/2016 15:35

Did you resign after they started a disciplinary? They can carry it on in your absence and come to a conclusion (they should invite your views/you)

enchantedfairytale · 23/04/2016 15:45

No, I don't know what has happened to be honest.

OP posts:
WhoTheFuckIsSimon · 23/04/2016 16:46

Well it doesn't sound like they've followed procedure, surely if there's been an investigation they should have told you the allegation by now.

enchantedfairytale · 23/04/2016 16:52

I know but will that make any difference?

OP posts:
SouthWestmom · 23/04/2016 18:20

Is it a previous job? Do you know what the issue is?

WhoTheFuckIsSimon · 23/04/2016 18:21

Might make a difference if you threaten them with legal action.

DoreenLethal · 23/04/2016 18:36

Sure the letter is for you?
