My to do list was huge, but due to being unwell all week, I've hardly done anything. Sad

Anyone else in this positions? Am hoping you can make me feel better!

I too agree with the 'doing nothing over the holidays' way of thinking. I'd rather do loads in the evenings than have to do anything over the holidays. I've done a little bit of admin type stuff but that's all.

I'm a proper swot though and when I left on Friday I had everything set up to come back to on Monday. In fact that is my rule every time. That way if something happens over the weekend or evening I don't have to worry.

I have decided to take the doctors advice and stay home. I always feel guilty but this time I am not!

I did a bit this morning and have been a raging ball of anger ever since. Finally got round to looking at timetable changes handed to me on the last day of last term. Turns out I've got yet another non-specialist in my dept, who I've only met once, in passing, and he's been given 6th form. I'm livid that the deputy didn't think it was worth discussing/consulting/letting me know. This is the third lot of changes this year. Angry Angry Angry

I went to vegas for the week. Got back yesterday, slept till 1pm today. Have done nothing. Don't even care (will totally care tomorrow!). Smile

I've done some stuff over the half term, but not as much as I usually do.
I'm leaving at Easter as well, but from the little bits I've been sent over the holidays, it seems very much as if my class, classroom and my responsibilities have already been taken over by someone else. (Hello?? I'll still be there for six weeks,...!)
I'm pissed off,...and the new term hasn't even started. If I could start my new job this week, I'd walk out in a heartbeat. My input and my presence are quite obviously not appreciated, so what's the point in me wasting my time any further...? Haven't done any planning. Don't care anymore...Angry
I'll take my little allocated group into the storage room we've been shoved off to, close the door and do what I want.

Kinky, I'm 20 years in ,so should have learned by now! The past few weeks I have done little at night though, having been il floor newrly a month.Managed to scrape my way through the days, then crashed as soon as I had got the kids to bed!

only seems to be half terms where I end up working loads, getting less behind I suppose.

That's a similar pattern to me Olivo. Sad

I'm so jealous of everybody's short half terms! We have 7 weeks...

Pipbin · 23/02/2016 07:19

Oh heavens. Are you in Wales? I understand that Easter isn't at Easter in Wales.

That said you'll get Easter weekend and then shorter terms before the summer.

Leslieknope45 · 23/02/2016 15:40

It's Lancashire, some of us followed one week and some the other so all the schools are different. It will be worth it for the 5 week half term after Easter
