Keeping fit as a full time teacher...

I am a very un-toned teacher. I'm a size 12 but I just feel really wobbly and in need of shaping up.
I caught a glimpse of my bum in the mirror today and was shocked at how saggy and out of shape I looked. I'm just so tired. Very tired after work that there's never a time where I feel like doing any cardio, the job is so exhausting that I always feel a bit ill... What do you do to keep fit? I almost feel like leaving or going part time because prior to teaching I always managed to find time to take care of my body and now it's all teaching and sleeping. TIA

DH cycles to and from school and changes when he gets there (keeps suits/shirts at work!) He goes to the gym on the weekend.

I am lucky to have a colleague who is a PT and does circuits for us after work twice a week. I also go to the gym on the weekend and a long, fast walk once a week.

Batman, I have never worked in/known of a primary that has a shower - Victorian primary schools in London don't tend to have them AFAIK

Not a teacher, but I'm doing 30 day shred or Pilates at either 6.30am or 8pm each day. It only takes 25 mins.

i BET you the cycling things fails,
too much hassle. IMO exercise ( and i am not a sporty type) ONLY works when it is right

schools have to have showers now for disability stuff

I don't shower after cycling a steady 8 miles, baby wipes and reapply deodorant, go deliberately slowly in the morning and then faster on the way home when i don't mind getting a bit sweaty. I suspect all those European countries where cycling is a bit more normal won't even consider showering when they get to work, ie those glamorous danish women who seen to cycle in heels and short skirts.

To make cycling work I have a basket (clothes mainly go in there), a clip on cycle bag as my school bag and a smoothie to keep me going without attacking staffroom biscuits. Sometimes I shower, sometimes I don't work up enough of a sweat (though I ALWAYS beat the bus).
Another idea - when I was on leave, I used to do youtube fitness videos with ds. He loved them and it was good for his coordination. We particularly enjoy burn to the beat 10 minute workouts.

I get up very early (445) and go for a run then. I don't think it adds to the tiredness because I actually feel better for doing it.

i exercise so much I actually never go to bed
