NPQSL - final assessment

Is anyone here doing NPQSL? Or know anyone who is? I'm trying to put together the documentation for my final assessment at the moment, but am going round and round in circles.

Previously, there were 2 separate assessment tasks but these have now been combined into one. Nearly all the documentation I can find relates to the 2, old tasks. I'm trying to find out if there's a pro-forma I need to follow or if I just write it like a normal assignment.

I know it's a long shot, but you never know who's lurking around here....

It's a shame we aren't doing the same sazzleberry79 but I'm doing the one that involves 2 projects as I started in 2013! I don't know how similar they are or how similar the guidance is. A good starting point I found is looking at what competencies they are asking you to evidence and use these as headings and write about how you achieved that competency through your project. I also looked back at my notes from face to face days to tie in some theory. I haven't finished mine yet so I can't categorically say that is the way to do it as it hasn't been marked yet but I know I would've appreciated any advice just to get started as you do start to get your head round it once you start writing. The bit I'm struggling with is evidencing things and proving myself.
If you have successfully carried out a project then don't quit now, you have done the hard bit! :)

Sazzleberry and emsy, did you not receive an example of the completed competencies?

Oh this thing is driving me insane now. I've deferred my assignment hand in (now early Nov) because ofsted arrived the first week in sept. I've since moved classrooms and spent a week searching for all my stuff. I was convinced I'd completed the modules, apparently not.
So now I'm doing the second one again. I just presumed once I'd read them and taken a forest worth of notes down it automatically completed as 'read'. Both my course leaders have vanished off the face of the earth and because of ofsted I missed one of the days!
I find it so interesting whilst I'm doing it but getting time to finish is a pain.
Does anyone have any idea how to show the modules as complete? Help?
Well done to all you fab people finishing though. I'm can't wait to get there!Wink

I am just starting now with my first compulsory module, in Dubai. I could do with some support with the language in the form also. I am not going to try to find exemplars as it would seem there were none when you guys started and no more easily found now! Any advice welcome as to how to identify that gap
Thanks

While working on my NPQSL final assessment, I found it so frustrating... Thanks to your comments shared here (which I found on google), I was able to understand how to structure the writing, provide evidence, complete the assessment and I'm glad to say I passed when the results came in August. I'm back to say thank you and share some sample final assessments which should serve as a guide, to others possibly needing it.

I know that this is a recently resurrected thread but just wanted to add that the NPQSL qualification was reformed for first teaching from September 2017. There are new assessments for anyone who started post this date.
