Does anyone else feel like they waste their holidays?

Just that really.

I'm so exhausted from working every hour during term time, including my break and lunch times, that by the holidays I feel like I've been hit by a truck and really just don't feel motivated to do anything. Feel really sorry for ds (5) as I can't be much fun. My fb feed is full of people doing exciting things, while I just want to sit and do nothing while trying to not eat every biscuit in the house.

Please reassure me in not alone. I've arranged for him to have a sleep over round a friends so hopefully I'll feel less rubbish when he gets back. I'm still in pyjamas!!

Phleb. They don't need entertaining. Give yourself a break 0.75 should be fine to do this stuff in term time

I've packed ds (9) off to my inlaws for a couple of days so I can work without feeling guilty. I know he'll have much more fun there and not be left to entertain himself. Mil is a retired teacher so knows what it's like. So much for the fabled holidays!!!
