If you got any L6s in reading, please tell me how!

This is the most able cohort I've ever taught. A few got level six in both Maths and SPaG...but yet again none in reading! If you got any, please could you tell me how?!
Our kids are bright but "unworldly." we're very rural and I do genuinely wonder if this lack of experience stops them scoring highly on the L6 paper.
Thanks!

DD is a L5a at the end of year 5 so if she didn't get a L6 in the test next year would OFSTED come a-knocking about a child failing to make expected progress?

Well we had 2 level 6 readers. First time ever. Both v high achievers across the board, all 6s and one going to very competitive super selective. I am astonished at a school having 12 level 6 writers but no readers, we only had the same 2 pupils at level 6 writing. It's very tough too I think. We achieve about 60% level 5 writers so it's a strength. We do have two borough moderators on our staff though and they are very tough to get anything past.
One pupil actually got nearly full marks on the reading level 6 too, although just managed 44 on the level 5 paper so there you go. I think you have to very intelligent with mature empathy and intuitively nuanced understanding of authorial intent rather than an understanding of mature themes.
