When should observation feedback be given?

I'm primary but the Academy we feed into (just got RI in ofsted) seems to be getting rid of a rather large number of staff in various delightful ways. I have two friends, one of whom couldn't face the pressure any more and has just resigned. The other, despite getting Outstanding in the recent OFSTED is being treated in an identical manner.

For both friends, it seems that they are observed by a member of SLT then have to wait up to 9 days for their feedback, which is written, and according to them an unfair representation of the lesson.

How does this seem to anyone else? Nine days seems a really long time and opens up the possibility of unfair feedback. From my POV it seems once they've decided "your face doesn't fit" there's no other option than leaving, which is appalling!

Sorry for slightly incoherent post - cooking at same time!

Oral feedback within 24 hours & copy of notes within 3 days.

As a member of SLT, I think it's vital to give oral feedback within 24 hours.

Thank you both. I knew 9days was ridiculous. Yesterday, out of the blue, all 11 staff who are leaving at Christmas were told that this (Monday) would be their last day so gather up their things and get ready to leave. My friend is really upset about it.
