Has King Charles done this?

Has King Charles in his four years as Monarch managed to fill his Late Mother’s shoes and remedy at least some of the gaping hole left in the hearts of the British people following her passing?

Why or why not?

That man should never have been allowed to be king after the way he treated the Princess of Hearts,

Ahahaha 🤣

The only comment on here to rival the gaping hole in our hearts nonsense.

The style of this post is very similar to some others that I've seen recently.

Odd.

There is a poster who appears every so often under new user names, posts wierd shit on law, education, politics and the RF - always in the style of what do you think/ why is this/ do you agree or not - like this is some kind of school essay board and then disappears again. However her posting style is so one-track and distinctive that it is clearly her, regardless of name changes. If this is the same poster she should be in uni and concentrating on that, rather than posting threads on here which she often abandons.

The old lady did a well paid job and made a hash of it with regards Andrew. There's your gaping hole.

valeriy2 · 06/10/2026 19:19

What - a hole in my heart - who knew ?!

Snowyowl99 · 06/10/2026 19:21

King Charles is doing fine

elperil · 06/10/2026 19:23

Whether he is or isn't is not going to bother Charles and Camilla much, as long as the cash register keeps pinging loadsa dough in their direction every day. Amirite? 😊

cornflakecrunchie · 06/10/2026 19:29

Aww well, I loved our Queen. (The REAL one.)

Yeah Camilla is as fake as rhinestones in a jewellery shop on the 30th February at 13 O'Clock.

I think he did a great job with the US state visit and I feel he's had more than his fair share of shit show with cancer, Andrew , Harry and Meghan and now Spencer.

I think that, whatever your opinion of the monarchy as an institution, it’s fair to say that KC has had rotten luck since the start of his reign!

Wayward, mud-slinging son and DIL, cancer, AMW scandal to deal with, exBIL settling old scores - it’s been one thing after another for him.

I think, taking all this into account, that he’s bearing up very well.

Yet another weird thread started about the RF by a new poster.

What's the relevance of them being new?

£12 million pounds cover up of an abused woman.
Never complain never explain.🤮🤮🤮

Gaping hole in my heart? I don't think so.

'“It is emphatically denied that The Duke of York had any form of sexual contact or relationship with (Virginia Giuffre), Any claim to the contrary is false and without foundation.”

That was Buckingham Palace's statement back in 2019 when VG's allegations were emerging. In other words: that was the spokesperson of our Head of State, publicly branding a sex trafficking victim as a liar. They have never retracted it either, even when they gave VG millions as a payoff a few years later. Of all the (many) situations and moments that have ensured I have long lost respect for the RF, that ranks as the very worst.

CathyorClaire · 06/10/2026 20:24

What do you think, OP?

People (or even not people) come to social media with an agenda on a variety of topics.
Currently the RF is a target.

What - a hole in my heart - who knew ?!

That made me giggle. It reminds me of , when I was phoned ( before I learned just not to answer numbers I did not recognise ) by someone who said they were ringing about my recent car accident. "An accident" I said -"why did no one tell me , can you give me the details because this sounds very serious , I need to look into it " Phone was cut off, obvs.

Its an open forum people csn come create threads as they like so long as ifs all above aboard. Report it if you have an issue with it.

Anyone posting has an agenda, we have the anti H&M agenda, the anti w&C agenda, the 'i find it entertaining to gossip about people' agenda and so on.

I’m repulsed by the sight of him and his wife due to his infidelity to his wedding vows.
He needed to show guts and brains as a younger man and behave honorably.

Oh, and his first wife was a model of fidelity was she?

I've nothing at all against Diana, but this sort of nonsense irritates me.

Who is probably a journalist.

Lostsadandconfused · 07/10/2026 04:02

What did the late Queen ever do besides show up? I have no idea what causes she ardently supported, what her beliefs were etc.

Whereas Charles seems to have had a personal positive influence through the Duchy of Cornwall local employment initiatives, sustainable farming, the environment etc.

The late Queen seemed a bit of a one dimensional figurehead to me.

Apparently she wasn’t very intelligent, just well trained to behave in a certain way when she was rolled out in public.

CostcoFanofThree · 07/10/2026 04:20

@SquirrelGG he shouldn’t of married her in the first place.
He simply was not into her from the get go.

HelpMeGetThrough · 07/10/2026 05:31

Gaping hole? I couldn’t give two shits that she died. It happens to people daily.

Nobody is claiming that Diana was blameless; but she died nearly 30 years ago and doesn't have to impress us any more. The person who does need to command respect is her ex-husband as our current Head of State.

It was Charles who got engaged to a teenager whilst already embroiled in an affair. And who invites us to believe that he - a man in his 30s - was 'forced' into the marriage. And who expects us to accept his affair partner as Queen.

If he were a private individual this would be none of our business. As we have a monarchy it concerns the character of our Head of State so is very much our business.
