Looks like we’re getting another royal documentary. This time it’s Camilla speaking out about domestic violence. It is also meant to feature Theresa May. I’m actually really interested in watching this, it’s a cause close to my heart.

I've seen it advertised but I couldn't remember when it's going to be on. After scrolling about a mile down the link it's next Monday at 9 p.m. Oh, dear, I want to be in two other places that evening.

I'm really pleased that Camilla's long term work in this area is finally getting publicity. This is what I want to see from the press around the royal family, shining a light on charities not shoes.

Maybe the press should be shining a light on their tax affairs and hypocrisy.

Have you not seen the papers in the last couple of days ?
Camilla’s support regarding Domestic Violence is longstanding and people who have met her say she is passionate about the issue . Having The Queen involved is raising the profile of charities.
If she can help one DV survivor it will be worthwhile .

I think countering domestic violence, and supporting those who have been affected by it, is far more important.

Especially as the press is usually a bit squeamish about VAWG

I watched the documentary and was impressed by how empathetic the Queen was with the people who were victims of domestic violence or who had lost loved ones to it. The victims who spoke out were also amazing, especially the Chief Inspector of Avon and Somerset police

I've long thought that if the purpose of Royalty has changed (and it has, over centuries) if they're not Harry (another oneGrin) leading us at Agincourt, or similar, they need to have a meaning.

VAWG is a good one, as is working to end homelessness.
