The bottom line, even the so-called royal reports don't know.
There are many types of cancers and most of them can be resolved if caught in time. Others can be managed relatively well for many years.
I just hope the king is able to get on with his life even as he undergoes treatments etc as no one but no one knows when their time is up, cancer or no cancer
TBH, I felt our King should have shared what cancer he had because it would have meant more people looking out for that type of cancer. However, our King has decided not to share the exact diagnoses and that's his prerogative and one I dearly respect and understand!!
I've had cancer and left work, this was years ago. My OH asked me to share with the diagnosis my siblings, I decided I did not want. Nor did I share it with my in-laws whom I'm close to. The reason for this was not to burden them and then get fed up of being asked how I was and if I did this, that and the other. As the years went on and I was getting the clear, I did share it with in-laws who live close to us and told them not to share with my family as my siblings live some distance and would only worry.
Most of us are guilty if not being well but too scared to go to GP just in case they refer us to the hospital then wait etc. I was worried sick re waiting for the results but once I got them, it was easier, especially learning it was low grade and localised.
Wish King Charles a speedy recovery.
