This feels like the longest time since we heard from/of Meg. I'm wondering if she's constructing a battle-plan and will come out all-guns-blazing shortly? I certainly think staying out of the limelight for a while has been a wise move. I'm just wondering what comes next? A whole bunch of fireworks bigger than before or something totally different at a tangent? What're you expecting?

Based on some viral Tiktoks, their last official appearance was Dec 22 I think? That was accepting some kind of award against racism. It is very odd that there hasn't even been a paparazzi shot of MM or some kind of casual engagement for the entirety of January. Especially considering this coincided with the momentous launch of Harry's book and they weren't just all off on vacation.

The last time there was so much silence from them was probably during covid. Even during deep lockdown there were still shots of them wearing masks and handing out food at some soup kitchen. So the current disappearance is definitely uncharacteristic for MM and unlikely to be a PR move.

I can exclusively reveal that Meghan has spent the whole of January in my garden. She arrived with a deck chair, produced steaming hot noodles, broth and vegetables and she keeps having a lovely leisurely lunch on the patio. It is like Groundhog Day, but GroundMeg Day. It appears she is waiting for Harry to dismantle the summerhouse I sold him on Sparetree. He is so dim, it is taking forever and he kept having to pop out to do media appearances.

Surely, he finished promoting Spare on about 12 Jan, and they have been enjoying a family vacation since then? Seems a likely explanation to me

Though … that would imply that the media H&M so hate and distrust have self-imposed a blackout on their destination. (For what it’s worth, i have seen a holiday in X resort in Y country cited once, but can’t find the info again)

Yes, they holiday a lot in exclusive places of the Caribbean where the Daily Mail would never gain access. They have built up some powerful connections there which is why Kate & William's tour was always going to be challenging.

I think they really want to come to the coronation, they need the publicity and kudos being royal brings, so I suspect they will go quiet for a while, apart from a few drip feeds on charitable work to boost their damaged images, and then hoping it all dies down then they will front up for the coronation.

I'm with the 'enjoying the silence' gang. Long may it continue, hopefully M and H won't come to the coronation. (I'm also enjoying the DM references - love that song.)

I agree that will go very quiet for a while and then attend the coronation, he will scowl and sulk, she will have a dazzling smile plastered on her face, they will get booed, ignored by the family and will return to the US to blame the whole fiasco on racist UK & the media and add another chapter to the next book.

She'll be pulling the strings, as usual.

They are probably building up a new arsenal of accusations for the next book.
