Sorry, no meme just an observation.

I was In Waterstones yesterday to buy a birthday card and then went to Smiths where our lovely, spacious post office relocated to 😢 Waterstones had a table display but I didn't see a single person looking, lots of people buying lots of book but not Spare. In Smiths there were a few in the window, just two on a distant shelf and a whole table devoted to Michelle Obama. Big display of other Royal books, I leafed through Angela Kelly's book which looks lovely.

I think those who were curious/keen mostly bought on line, others will be waiting for the charity shop bargains. I suspect most book shops will find sales are poor by now.

This cracks me up!

It was sarcasm, I imagine. Meghan and Harry said they left the uk because of the British media and this was justified in part with pictures of the tabloid headlines in the Netflix H&M interview. Those headlines were largely not from the British press, yet the way the episode was put together implied they were. Posters have commented on other threads that the American tabloids are even more vicious than the British. If that front cover is anything to go by, this could appear to be the case. That headline is fierce!
