The memes are brightening my days! And I scroll past one and then it disappears into the ether.

I don't know why, but that one just sent me into stitches.

Maybe because I have two sons, both in their 30s, who still razz each other with similar juvenile humour and stupid potty jokes. It would break my heart if their relationship ever deteriorated to the level of W & H's. But it would also infuriate me to no end if one of them was the main cause of it, especially if it was at the (apparent) instigation of one of their wives.

As a parent, I really feel for Charles in this. I'm sure he wants to give Harry down the country and cut any support (if any) he's giving and take away any 'privileges' he still has (titles). But yet he doesn't want to lose his son and grandchildren if there's any chance that some sort of 'entente cordiale' can be reached at a future date. Personally I don't see it, H &M would only consider a full 'acknowledgment' but the RF of their list of 'crimes' and then an abject public apology.

Not to mention that anything Charles does, positive or negative, will be blasted to the public in the worst possible light.

@Tamarindtree

My quote didn't show the meme I meant. It was the 'small dick, sounds like an owl' one!

ArcaneWireless · 09/01/2023 15:03

Is that why OP?

Bit twatty of the airline if that is the case but I suppose they had to pick a side.

More so given that they are more likely to have his sibling as a frequent flier when the dosh and jobs dry up.

ArcaneWireless · 09/01/2023 15:04

I love the 1422 one also. 😈

Thank you. I agree with your sentiments. As a family we all enjoy banter and poke fun at ourselves.

I hope this is the beginning of the end for the ridiculous charade. I just always think back to Doug Stanhopes standup about the Royal family.

MeghanThyStallion · 09/01/2023 20:54

It's back! I think there was a Great Reset because I couldn't post on any MN threads for a few minutes.

I love this one. DH is ex-RAF and had a proper guffaw at that one!

ortonym · 07/01/2023 16:12

Thank you for that. Now then...our right or theirs?😁

😂

AS far as they are concerned, they should have all the rights.

Well Harry.

I think it's fair to blame you for taking the whole of MN out for 32 mins...

Hopefully the kerfuffle has attracted some good meme makers

Having lived alongside the military for many years I know that the darker the humour the funnier they find it.

Oh yes the military humour can get very dark (DH ex-RAF and BIL ex-RMR) - they both (and all their colleagues) found Jimmy Carr’s comments about the military and the GB Paralympic team hysterical a few years back
