The royal family

Would the Royal Family confirm Charles is NOT Harry's real father?

So I know this is a bit out there, but I have always felt like Charles was not really Harry's father, but instead James Hewitt is. I know this is obviously not new news. There's been rumours and speculation swirling around for decades.

So let's just say for arguments sake that James Hewitt is indeed Harry's father and that the palace had been hiding the fact from the public. Given the fact that there is so much potentially damaging information that will come out in Harry's book and future interviews, do you think that the Royal Family would stoop low enough to leak a story that confirmed Harry is not actually Charle's son by blood in an effort to remove him from the family?

I'm pretty sure they would've had DNA tests carried out already. Diana wasn't stupid she would never have allowed herself to fall pregnant by another man.

If there was to be an announcement, it should be made by Harry since he's an adult and it would be his news to share if he wanted.

I agree that he looks like PP at the same age. Plus ime a lot of families with blonde members have the odd ginger child. Somebody might be able to explain this better in terms of the genetics.

It's clear Harry doesn't think any of the family have a right to have their privacy respected, so why should the family respect his?

I think he looks like Diana’s red headed sister too (Can’t think of her name)

Lady Jane Fellowes?

Lady Sarah McCorquodale?

Lots of things to consider obviously. I've not seen those photos comparing him to a younger Phillip. Definitely look similar there.

Btw - I didn't intend for this threads to be a yes / no he's definitely Charles / James son. But more just a question of what would the Royal Family do to distance themselves as much as they could from Harry. So if they knew that he wasn't Charle's son would they use that against him...?

He gets his red hair from the Spencer family ,but looks wise he's all Charles and Philip
do you not think it there was any question at all about paternity ,they would not have done a DNA,test?

Compelling.

Meanwhile, as has been often established, Harry was already born when Diana met Hewitt.

Harry looks like Prince Philip and red hair was in the Spencer family. Diana was directly descended from Mary Boleyn, whose children may have been fathered by famous redhead Henry VIII.

StillWantingADog · 05/01/2023 22:28

it’s just not true.

But if when Diana got pg and Charles thought there was any chance it could not be his I’m sure the whole issue would have been dealt with there and then. Probably by abortion sadly.

The OPs whole thread is extremely offensive to adopted families as well. The whole premise that if you don't share genes you can just remove someone you no longer want from your family at any point, because they never truly belong is just horrible.

It happens. I was raised as Miss H. Aged 16 I needed my birth cert for my 1st passport. Lo & behold, someone else's name was on it on the Father space (my mother had forged her name to sign as his wife, when they were both married to other people). She died this year. On her deathbed I was given a tesco carrier with some £10 notes & told to go away. My older brother will inherit as he is 'real family'. I am 55 & 'have no family' now (it seems out I never really did, if they can do this).
I think PH is clearly very damaged by his childhood. His Mother's death chiefly, but being called 'the spare' & ongoing speculation about his parentage (the RF chose to raise him as PH so that's what matters, in my obviously biased opinion) won't help.

Harry was already born when James Hewitt came into his life. He was brought in to teach the boys to ride

Oldsu · 06/01/2023 17:32

Personally I have always liked the resemblance between Harry and his great granny Queen Mary particularly when she was younger and just Mary of Teck

Don't understand why they haven't released DNA testing and put the paternity rumours to bed.
In fact for a family to claim "rights and privileges" based on DNA, would it not be reasonable for them all to be tested?
PH might have been saner if Hewitt had been his father. Too much in breeding in the RF.

I didn't think they meant in the sense of familial love and belonging (though well, that ship...) but lineage rules?

Probably because they know Charles is Harry’s father and that the majority of people wouldn’t want anything so ugly to take place even if Charles wasn’t his father.

As it is, anyone with any common sense can see the paternal family resemblance to other members of the RF and it makes them wonder about the standards of others who have minds like a cesspit.

He has the windsor eyes, nose and mouth. He looks more like Charles than William does. There is clearly ginger on both sides of the family (as you have early Spencer on one side and Beatrice on another). There is absolutely no doubt he is a windsor

The only similarity to Hewitt is ginger hair

ChiefPearlClutcher · 07/01/2023 07:31

I wish this ‘theory’ would die a death.

I assumed Beatrice inherited.her ginger hair off her mother?
But that aside Harry is the image of Charles ,I have no doubt they are father and son.

WillyAndHarold · 07/01/2023 09:00

Ginger is a recessive gene, so you need it from both sides for it to show.

So red-haired royals show that it exists in their family line, and it's in the Spencers too (one of Diana's sisters is redhead)

forgotmyusername1 · 07/01/2023 09:02

Ginger hair means both parents have to carry the gene.

Ah I didn't know that ,interesting!

forgotmyusername1 · 07/01/2023 09:10

Brown hair and eyes are dominant

Blonde/ ginger hair and blue/green eyes are both recessive which means that both parents have to have that gene and pass it on

My friend has two very ginger children yet neither she nor her husband nor their parents or siblings have ginger hair. A great grandparent on both sides was ginger so it just happened that way and a ginger gene was passed down on each side but didn't show up for 3 generations until there was anothet ginger gene on the other side - it's quite interesting

The RF does not do this. It wouldn’t allow testing of the bones that might be the Princes in the Tower. It absolutely would not release medical information about living members. Also - do it once, create a rod for your back.
