Literally haven't seen any mention of this anywhere.

Notasyoungasiwas · 04/05/2020 17:27

I can only see references to her Mothers Day Instagram post

GoddessOfGettingThereInTheEnd · 04/05/2020 17:30

Oh, it was an Australian website. No idea why it came up in my feed. I dont follow Eugenie's comings and goings. Very odd.

Wonder if any of the royal family would announce a pregnancy out of wedlock

Greenteandchives · 04/05/2020 17:34

Eugenie is married, Soda

panicstationsready · 04/05/2020 17:46

I thought that was announced a few days ago - perhaps I imagined it....

GoddessOfGettingThereInTheEnd · 04/05/2020 17:46

I think the royal would have a termination.

I think people are conflating Eugenie and Beatrice. The former is married; the latter is engaged (and the wedding has been repeatedly postponed, through no fault of either her or her partner).

MillennialPink · 04/05/2020 18:19

Australian magazines just make shit up to an extent you absolutely would not believe

GoddessOfGettingThereInTheEnd · 04/05/2020 19:48

@Nancydrawn, i think you're confusing conflate with confuse! Sorry, i couldn't resist that one.

Eugenie might be pregnant, she's been married 2 years so it will hardly be a massive scoop when it comes.

No, I actually meant conflating, as in they were merging the two in their heads! But yes, also confusing.

GoddessOfGettingThereInTheEnd · 04/05/2020 20:23

I am boring myself to death now but I think it is sets (of data) that get conflated. Two people can"t conflate I don't think. It sounds wrong. Every day is a school day for me though.

Ah! Conflating merely means combining, merging, or fusing two things into one. It's most typically used with abstract things, like ideas, analyses, etc.

I meant in my original post that they were conflating their understandings or their recollection of Beatrice and Eugenie, not actually blending the two of them together physically.

Nancydrawn · 04/05/2020 21:31

Tbf I don't think it actually has to be two, just multiple. So you can conflate the meanings of multiple religions, e.g.
