Lies, Queen did not strip them off. We only know that they will not use it.

Good for them. I wish them every happiness.

The queen seems very fond of Meghan in that statement, and there doesn't seem to be any bad feeling on either side.
I think they all learned their lesson after how unhappy Princess Diana was.

Harry probably wanted out years ago, even before he met Meghan. The media's treatment of her was probably the final push he needed.

Good luck to them

I think that they cannot 'strip' the HRH as Harry is born into it. But they have told them they cannot have the title and expect to go it alone and monetise that position.

I expect that IF, in the future Harry wishes to return to the fold then he will be welcomed back.

I was delighted when Meghan married PH. But she seems to burn her bridges wherever she goes. I think they can't really come back from this. Where is the money going to come from? At the end of the day, who is going to pay big bucks to them?

Glad it’s all resolved, the Queen has handled this messy situation very gracefully.

Where is all this stuff about divorce coming from? I haven't seen a shred of evidence that divorce is on the cards. Confused

Do you write headlines for the Daily Mail OP?

They won't be using their HRH titles as they'll no longer be working members of the Royal family.

I think we can all see a bit of our grandmas in that statement. Unconditional love.

Wish my Gran was still around, she hated bullshit and gossips and made no bones about telling people what she thought about them

I was curious about the title issue, so looked it up. I've just read that until now, she was officially 'Princess Henry of Wales'. Very odd. Not that far from Ofharry. Hmm

Well she got what she wanted. Another social climber. Why marry into the royal family when she knew what would be expected of her. Harry will come to realise his mistake in years to come.

This - and I said it from day 1 - gave it 3 years- he was played hook line and sinker Hmm

If talks have been happening for months then it's small wonder that Prince William and Mrs have fallen out with them. All the workload now dumped on them. I'd be annoyed in similar circumstances.

You can see why H & M want to get away from internet forums like this.

They want to fuck off, then they need to fuck off on their own two feet and with no coining it off 'royal'. They can go cry to Oprah playing the professional victim.

or perhaps pay for the security themselves methinks woodchuck99

Anyone else have a thought that tey have at least one benefactor bankrolling them? After all how could they possibly pay back the £2.4 million paid to update theor house?

or was it just an aspiration that they would pay this?

and who will now own this house?

A lot of questions still to be answered. Best of luck to them. We all think that living as a royal must be fantastic but there are downsides and I feel for Harry, not sure about Megan as I still haven't made my mnd up that she is not a gold digger but that is partly due to a lack of knowedge and information on the subject.

If your husband was unhappy at work, would you tell him to carry on at the expense of his mental health, or would you encourage and support him to change? Harry has the unfortunate situation where his work and family are inextricably linked. He didn't choose to be born royal, he is resigning a job which he only has by accident of birth, not because he applied for it.

The social climber comments towards Meghan are illogical. Surely by wanting out of the royal lifestyle, she is the opposite of a social climber?

They haven't had them stripped just in case he comes back, but no way is HMQ going to risk HRH SussexRoyal Yfronts being sold!
