Asking if I would take this boy. His name is Kevin and he’s 3. On my way to get him!

@Allergictoironingthey only agreed to him as they knew I like exotics. I suspect the vet will put him on a diet. 🤣🤣 I can’t feel his ribs or spine and his coat is not super thick or fluffy, so he can’t blame it on that!

He’s eaten and drank and used the litter tray. Not sure what I am supposed to do with wood chip litter. Will get him off it asap! Slept under the bed but came for cuddles. He was waiting for me when I got out of the shower!

Wood chip litter you scoop out the poo and wet areas, then just scrape it level. Top up as required, but as the pellets break down they fill more space so topping up is less than you may imagine.

Full replacement is so very dependant on the individual users. Mine used to be fortnightly, then Tobias came along and it's twice a week as long as I keep on top of the scooping.

He is amazing. I would love an Exotic (and a BSH and a fold) but alas will not happen. He looks a real beauty and I’m sure you will both share a lot of love over the years.

Quick tip for much cheaper wood chip litter, use horse bedding pellets or wood chip boiler pellets (provided they are pure untreated wood). I was paying £14 for a big bag of cat wood chip, the same size for bedding/boilers was £5 and it looks to be exactly the same stuff

He had a really good night. Slept under the bed. Came for a couple of cuddles. Eaten and drank and used littler tray. I’m at work today but he seems completely fine on camera. He’s decided the top of the cat tree is his favourite place.

@AlwaysRightISweari had the lovely Paddington for a few months. But it didn’t work out with Penelope. 😰 but my parents last few have been boys. All ridiculously soppy!
