Tarot

Our female cat is Tarot .
DD and I were discussing names , I said "Acorah" after Derek Acorah .
She said "Is he the bloke that does the Tarot cards"?

No...... but we had a name .

Dante as in Dante's Inferno)

We were thinking this for the male cat but couldn't agree if it was "Dan-tay" or "Dawn-tay"

Not that the little blighter listens Grin

You know that you haven't paid any cat tax yet, don't you?

We will accept a downpayment of the current clowder/coven.

Anubis
Binx (Hocus Pocus)
Marko (Lost Boys)
Vhagar (or other dragon names from GOT)

Surely he’s a Merlin??

I think, because he's a Russian Blue, the trend is towards Eastern European names.
Merlin is a brilliant name though.

I has a Russian blue called Mephistopheles
Not sure if all Russian blues are so noisy but mine never shut up.

StormGazing · 10/08/2026 08:13

I love Vlad, especially as Vlad the impaler … sounds like the Russian version of Murder Mittens
mt blue kitty is a bit less sinister … Storm Cloud … stormy for short

2pence · 10/08/2026 08:30

Has anyone mentioned Incubus (Inky for short) or Pooka?
