Cat in my garden

There's a beautiful cat who is in my garden most days. I don't mind at all. He's usually on my lounger sleeping. He has a collar on and looks a healthy weight.

I'm worried he doesn't actually have a home now as he's in my garden so much. I wanted to give him some ham but then thought against it incase his owners don't want him to have certain foods. I have put some water out. If he has a collar, he will have a home won't he?

Troublepuffs! 😂 Love it!

(Assuming it's a euphemism for testicles?)

You are correct!

Just to add, straying cats can look superficially in decent condition, especially in good weather. A tom I was involved in rescuing earlier this year looked pretty good, but when he got close and let me stroke him he was scabby and shabby and thinner than he should have been, and then a vet visit showed he was FIV+. Of course, some cats are chancers and Six Dinner Sids, or they just like your garden, but it doesn't mean it's not worth keeping an eye out for the welfare of any visiting cats.
