Does anyone have an AI prey detector cat flap?

My cat used to mean the world to me. I was a crazy cat lady. I knew that as soon as I had my baby, my attitude would change and unfortunately I was right and it has. I still love her but ever since the baby she is bringing in maybe 3 mice a night, sometimes a rabbit! Sometimes things have eaten and there’s blood everywhere. Since I’m a new mother, the thought of the germs from these rodents freaks me out. It’s so stressful. I’m scared of rodents anyway so my husband does a ‘mouse check’ every morning but I’ll be honest it’s just added stress to my already busy life at the mo.

we don’t want to lock her in at night. I think it’s cruel, and equally dint want to be clearing up litter mess so the solution is buying an ‘OnlyCat’ AI prey detector flap. They are ridiculously expensive at £400. The reviews in trustpilot look good but wondered if anyone on here has any experience ?

I do keep the cat in at night as our fairly busy road goes absolutely quiet at night but gets occasional fast cars which is when my boy might be tempted to cross. During the day the slight but constant traffic noise puts him off and in 5 years i’ve never actually seen him out the front. We’ve had no rodents or birds in at night as a bonus too. We use the Sure petcare smart flap that autolocks at curfew times we set. Always lets him in though if he’s still out. Not sure on these other prey types. Cats protection actually recommends keeping cats in at night, as do many other animal charities due to the impact on wildlife.
